Dancing for Eternity Partnership
Our Dancing for Eternity partner studios provide ballet instruction to our scholarship recipients. Scholarship recipients are able to select a dance studio that best meets their needs. We are extremely grateful to our partners for hosting the Dancing for Eternity scholarship recipients.

Studio Partnership Overview
| Scholarship | Dancing for Eternity (D4E) partners with studios to support ballet scholarship students enrolled in 1 ballet class per week. |
|---|---|
| D4E Financial Support | D4E pays 90% of tuition, recital costume fees, and recital fees for one weekly ballet class. Payments are made directly to the studio. |
| Family Responsibility | Families pay the remaining 10% directly to the studio. A parent/guardian signs a D4E agreement outlining payment amounts and due dates. |
| Additional Expenses | Families are responsible for optional or non-covered costs such as recital photos and any additional classes beyond the scholarship agreement. |
| Special Circumstances | In cases of verified homelessness, D4E may approve up to 100% coverage for one weekly ballet class (tuition and required fees only; extras excluded). |
| Studio Communication | D4E communicates contracted scholarship amounts directly with studio directors/owners. |
| Student Responsibilities | Scholarship students handle class registration and communicate with the studio like any other enrolled student. |
| Student Flexibility | Families may transfer studios or discontinue lessons at any time. They must notify both the studio and D4E when changes occur. |
| Studio Placement | D4E is not obligated to place a student in any specific studio each season; placements are determined by program approval. |
| Scholarship Ownership | Scholarships belong to the student, not the studio. They are non-transferable between students and are subject to D4E Board approval and renewal decisions. |
Studio Partnership Details
-
We value ongoing communication with partner studios and appreciate updates on student progress and attendance. We also welcome student testimonies and stories that can be shared with our supporters and donors.
-
Students are expected to maintain at least 90% attendance and follow studio policies, whichever standard is stricter. If a student is not attending regularly, please notify Dancing for Eternity (D4E) as soon as possible.
-
Families are responsible for paying 10% of tuition and required fees. If payment issues arise, please notify D4E promptly so we can address them.
-
We are committed to responsible stewardship of donor funds. We ask studios to help keep accounts current through monthly billing and payment updates for both D4E and family contributions.
-
We expect studios to maintain a safe, respectful, and encouraging learning environment. Based on Hope’s values, Dancing for Eternity does not tolerate rudeness, bullying, or body shaming on the part of teachers and staff. As such, an atmosphere in which these behaviors are tolerated is unacceptable in any studio with which we partner.
We also ask studios to follow industry best practices for safety, especially for students training en pointe.
-
When a student must discontinue classes, we ask studios to refund unused tuition and fees when possible. We understand this may differ from studio policy, but it helps ensure responsible use of donor funds, as families may need to adjust participation mid-season.
-
Together, we aim to support students with access, dignity, and consistency while maintaining clear communication and accountability between families, studios, and D4E.
